Description

The Kampfschwimmer Diver is based on the combat dive watch used by the Italian and German Navies during and right after WWII. Original Kampfschwimmer Divers were produced by Panerai using Rolex components such as the movement, case and crown sets.  Since Rolex was a British based company supporting the allies and Panerai was essentially forced to produce watches for the German military, they jointly decided to remove all branding and markings from the watch components.  The end result was a watch with “anonymous” dials.

This 45mm interpretation of the Kampfschwimmer Diver features is smaller polished case design with sapphire crystal.  The dial features the licensed “Marina Militare” mark and pays homage to the Italian Navy.  The dial is clean without a seconds the Marina Militare mark at the center. Powering the watch is the reliable ST3600 movement by Seagull Watch Corporation.  We are also offering an option of using the ETA 6498-1 movement for that Swiss watchmaking touch.  The 45mm watch case is secured to your wrist with a premium waxed leather band which adds another touch of luxury to the watch.
